It looks like we have some more details on the new Samsung Galaxy M31 smartphone, some press shots of the handset were posted on Twitter.

The device will be available in a choice of three colors, blue, red and black and it will be made official next week on the 25th of February. The three colors for the handset can be seen in the leaked photo below.

We also have some specifications on the handset, it will come with a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 9611 mobile processor and it will also come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built in storage. The handset will come with a 6000 mAh battery and 15W fast charging.

The cameras on the handset will include a front facing 32 megapixel camera for Selfies and four rear cameras on the back. These will include a 64 megapixel main camera, and 8 megapixel wide camera, a 5 megapixel macro camera and a depth camera. The device will apparently cost RS 15,000 which is about $210.

We recently saw a durability test for the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphone and now we get to find out what is inside the device.

The video below from JerryRigEverything gives us a look inside Samsung’s new folding smartphone, it will be interesting to see how the handset is out together.



As we can see from the video the glass display on the handset comes with a plastic layer on top which is designed to be permanent, as soon as this is removed the display no longer works. As soon as the plastic is remove the glass starts to crack on the display.

When the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra was launched at Samsung Unpacked last week, we were told the handset would only be available as a 5G smartphone.

Now LTE versions of the handset have been listed on Samsung’s website in some countries, this can be seen in the picture below.

The listing for the LTE version of the Galaxy S20 Ultra was spotted on Samsung’s website in Indonesia and it has also been listed on other sites.

It is not clear as yet on whether Samsung is launching an LTE version of the device in some countries, or whether the are listing the 5G version of the device with the 5G disabled as some countries do not have 5G networks yet.

As soon as we get some information on whether Samsung will be launching an LTE version of their S20 ultra, we will let you guys know.

LG has announced its 2020 LG K Series range of smartphones, there are three handsets in the line up, the LG K61, the LG K51S and LG K41S.

All three handsets comes with a 6.5 inch display with various resolutions and up to 4GB of RAM, you can see a full list of specifications below.

We recently heard that the new Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is coming in quarter two and we have heard a number of rumors about the handsets specifications.

The latest leak was that the handset would have an under the display Selfie camera and now we have some idea of what the device may look like thanks to Ben, Ben has created some renders based on the recent leaks.

The handset is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon  865 mobile processor and will come with 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will feature a 7.7 inch QXFA 120Hz display as the main display and 6.4 inch FHD+ display as the cover display.

Smartphone manufacturers are launching folding smartphones like Samsung and Motorola although one manufacturer has been working on a handset with a slide out display.

The photo above is of a concept smartphone from TCL that comes with a slide out display, a working prototype of the handset was apparently going to be shown off at Mobile World Congress before it was cancelled.

The photos of this new concept device were obtained by Cnet who also revealed some more information about the handset.

The device has a curved display which can almost double in size when it slides out, the handset will come with a dual front facing cameras for Selfies and it will also feature four cameras on the back of the handset.

The actual hardware specifications of the handset are not known as yet, although as it is a prototype they are likely to change before any device launches. It certainly looks like a very interesting handset from the photos, as soon as we get some more details about the device we will let you guys know.

Yesterday we heard that a replacement screen for the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip would cost $499 and now Samsung has said that they will offer a one time replacement for the display for $119.

The display on the Galaxy Z Flip is made from glass, although it is not as tough as normal glass, this was revealed in a recent durability test from JerryRigEverything, the display scratches easily.

The glass display on the handset appears to be coated in some sort of plastic as it scratches just as easily as the plastic display on the Motorola Razr. Here is what Samsung has to say about the display.

Galaxy Z Flip features an Infinity Flex Display with Samsung’s Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) to deliver a sleek, premium look and offer an immersive viewing experience,” a spokesperson said by email. “Samsung’s first-of-its-kind UTG technology is different from other Galaxy flagship devices. While the display does bend, it should be handled with care. Also, Galaxy Z Flip has a protective layer on top of the UTG similar to Galaxy Fold.

So it does look like their is a protective plastic layer on the outside of the display, although it appears to be a permanent one.
