Black Shark 3 5G smartphone to have 65W charging and 5000 mAh battery

More information has been revealed about the new Black Shark 3 5G smartphone, the handset will come with a 5000 mAh battery and also feature 65W fast charging.

The 65W fast charging will charge the handset to 100 percent in just 38 minutes, the handset will be able to maintain its charge over 800 full cycles.

The new Black Shark 3 5G is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 mobile processor and it will come with a QHD display that will have a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Those ate the only specifications that have been revealed about the handset so far, as soon as we get some more information on the device, we will let you guys know.

Whats new in Android 11 developer preview 1 (Video)

Yesterday we saw that Google had released first developer preview of Android 11 and now we have a video from Zollotech which gives us a look at the OS.

In the video below we get to see what is new in Android 11, this is a very early version of the OS and there are expected to be a number of changes before the final version lands.

So far the software is supported by the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, Pixel 3 and 3 XL, Pixel 3a and 3a XL and the Pixel 4 and 4 XL.

Google is recommending that normal users do not install this version as it is designed for developers and they have said that the first beta of the OS will be released some time in the next few weeks.

Pablo Escobar Fold 2 smartphone gets unboxed (Video)

Some of our readers will have heard about the Pablo Escobar Fold 2 folding smartphone, the handset is made by Escobar Inc which is run by Pablo Escobar’s brother.

The handset looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Unbox Therapy managed to get their hands on the device and we get to have a look at it in the video below.

As we can see from the video the device looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Foldand it comes with similar specifications.

Pricing for this handset starts at $399 for the 8GB of RAM version and $549 for the 12GB of RAM version, atlhough only the 12GB of RAM model appears to be available for sale at the moment. It certainly look like and interesting device and is different than anything else available at the moment due to the Escobar branding.

Sony Xperia L4 smartphone unveiled (Video)

Sony has announced a new mobile phone, the Sony Xperia L4 and the handset comes with a 6.2 inch display with a HD+ resolution of 1680 x 720 pixels.

The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of included storage, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion.

The Sony Xperia L4 comes with Android 9.0 and the handset features an 8 megapixel front facing camera for Selfies and video calls. On the back of the device there is a triple camera setup.

The three rear cameras include one 13 megapixel camera, one 5 megapixel camera and one 2 megapixel camera. The handset will also come with a 3580 mAh battery and fast charging.

Sony have said that their new Xperia L4 will go on sale in select markets this spring, it will be available in two colors, blue and black, there are no details on pricing a yet.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip gets unboxed (Video)

The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphone launched recently we have already seen a number of videos of the handset, these have included durability tests and a teardown and now we have another video.

The new video from Marques Brownlee is an unboxing video of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and it gives us a good look at the handset and its features.

As a reminder the handset comes with a 6.7 inch folding AMOLED display that has a FHD+ resolution of 2636 X 1080 pixels and it comes with a Snapdragon 855 processor and 8GB of RAM.

The device also has a 3300 mAh battery and 256GB of storage, plus a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 10 megapixel front facing camera.

This Smartphone Prevents Naked Selfies

Today everyone has a smartphone with a camera, so naturally, some of us snap a naughty selfie every now and then. However, over in Japan, Tone Mobile has launched a new smartphone called the Tone e20 that apparently will stop users from taking naked photos of themselves. I guess it is too much to ask that they have self-control.

So how does it work? Basically the phone will come with detection software that can detect “inappropriate photos”. If it detects a nude body, it will prevent the photo from being taken and any image data captured will then be discarded without being saved.

While it might seem a bit silly that a company would prevent users from doing what they want with their phone, this was designed to be a safety feature. Tone Mobile’s devices are geared towards those who want a simple phone and are on a budget, which might be for people who are still young and still in school.

By preventing users from taking naked selfies, it could prevent these teens from being duped by scammers and predators who might con them into sending compromising photos of themselves. Anyway, the feature can be disabled by adult users.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G gets benchmarked

We have been hearing rumors about the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G for some time now and the device has now appeared in some benchmarks.

The 5G version of the Galaxy A71 is listed on Geekbench and it has slightly different specifications to the 4G LTE model.

Samsung Exynos 980 mobile processor and it will also come with 8GB of RAM. The 4G version of the handset uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor.

The handset is also listed with Android 10 and the Geekbench listing for the device ha the model number SM-A7160.

As yet there are no details on when Samsung is planning to launch this 5G version of their Galaxy A71, the standard version of the handset is due to launch in India next week.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip gets taken apart by iFixit (Video)

We recently saw a teardown of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip by Zack from JerryRigEverything and now the guys from iFixit have taken apart Samsung’s new folding smartphone.

The guys from iFixit tested the handset with purple dust to show how dust could damage the handset, this can be seen in the video below.

As we can see from the video the dust easily got inside the handset and as expected the device is not the easiest to repair.

It only managed to score 2 out of 10 on the iFixit repairability score, 1 means the device is very hard to repair and 10 means it is easy to repair. You can find out more details over at iFixit at the link below.
