Ahead of the imminent launch in a few months time of the new and highly anticipated PlayStation virtual reality action shooter Synapse. James Shepherd, Head of nDreams game design studio has taken to the official PlayStation blog to reveal a little more about the game and the announcement of David Hayter and Jennifer Hale providing the voice talents for the upcoming dual wielding PS VR2 action shooter. Check out the announcement trailer below to learn more about what you can expect from the game.

Later this year the new sequel Helldivers 2 will be launching on both PlayStation 5 and PC systems and is currently under development at Arrowhead Game Studios. No official release date has been confirmed as yet but you can expect the game to launch sometime during 2023 on both platforms.

The third-person action shooter pits players against massive enemy mobs. “Our vision for the next installment always needed to be bigger, better and more hellish! Along with the trailer, we wanted to give you some details of what you can expect, so let’s get you prepped for the fight.”

Helldivers 2 release date to be confirmed

Konami Digital has today announced that a remastered version of the Metal Gear Solid 3 game is currently underdevelopment offering gamers a chance to enjoy the game that was first released back in November 2004 and the latest generation PC systems and consoles. A Metal Gear Solid 3 release date has been set for autumn 2023 and the game will be available to enjoy on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC systems also.

During the PlayStation Showcase more details of been released about the upcoming sequel to the popular Ghostrunner game. Ghostrunner 2 story takes place one year after the events of the first game and explores the world of Ghostrunner, with the player visiting more places, not only Dharma Tower.

Gamers who enjoyed the first Alan Wake action adventure game launch back in May 2010 on the Xbox and then a few years later on PC. Will be pleased to know that a sequel has now been announced and is currently under development with an Alan Wake 2 release date set for October 17, 2023.

Alan Wake 2 will be available to play on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in the game is now available to preorder in anticipation. The developer team responsible for creating the racing simulation game Forza Horizon 5 have released a new update today bringing with it a wealth of new features, tweaks and enhancements. Explore the Horizon is now available to download n on Xbox, PC via Steam allowing gamers to try out the new Photo Mode improvements and explore Mexico under a new lens with Pathfinder accolades.

Features of the new Forza Horizon 5  update include :

• Launch Control settings would not save after restarting the game.
• Vehicle wheels would sometimes return to their default position in Photo Mode.

• Playground Games Team Flag Rush match score could revert to 0 once a player from the opposite team left the match.
• Scoreboards in Playground Games Survival Mode would disappear instead of minimizing.

New photo mode features

• Time of Day Changes: Default, Dawn, Sunrise, Morning, Early Afternoon, Late Afternoon, Sunset, Evening, Night.
• Weather Changes: Default, Clear, Clear Post Rain, Cloudy, Cloudy Post Rain, Overcast, Light Precipitation, Heavy Precipitation, Gale, Fog.
• Wheel Tilt: Default, Straight, Left, Right.
• Guidelines: Disabled, Different Aspect Ratios, 9×9 Grids, Golden Ratios.
• Character Positions*: Driver Seat, Centre Front, Left Front, Right Front, Centre Back, Left Back, Right Back, Left Side and Right Side.
• Character Emotes: Various emotes unlocked by the player are supported.
• Photo Presets: Added to the “Effects” menu, players can save, rename and delete Photo Mode presets to quickly load their favorite Photo Mode settings.
